As a member of the informal network of national supervisors, the CNMV collaborates with other national supervisors in this network, led by the Ministry of Economy and Business and with the participation of the Bank of Spain, the Directorate General for Insurance and Pension Funds and the Climate Change Office, with the aim of cooperating, coordinating their action and exchanging knowledge in the field of sustainable finance.

To promote gender diversity, the CNMV regularly publishes data on the presence of women in boards of directors and senior management of companies to promote transparency in this area.

The CNMV supervises non-financial information of an environmental, social and workers´ rights nature, among others, in accordance with Law 11/2018 on non-financial and diversity information (transposed from Directive 2014/95/EU).

At the same time, due to the increased interest among investors in sustainability, the CNMV has observed an increase in the registration of collective investment schemes and investment firms focused on solidarity and sustainable projects.

In the area of Financial Education, the CNMV contributes to the training of groups at risk of social exclusion with the collaboration of the ONCE Foundation and the RENASCO Centre for Minors of the Community of Madrid.
